Lord Jesus Christ, You are my only hope as I suffer. Exalted Jesus, help me to daily celebrate Your resurrection! For You are risen and reigning now!
Christ exalted is our song,
Hymned by all the blood-bought throng;
To his throne our shouts shall rise;
God with us by sacred ties.
(“Peace made by the Blood of the Cross,” Kent, J., p.d.)
Exalted Jesus, You are my elder brother, and God is my heavenly Father!
On the morning You rose, You tenderly comforted my sister, a weeping Mary Magdalene…

Into my weeping, You tenderly remind me that You are my elder brother. You powerfully care for me when I remember I now belong to God the Father, in union with You as God the Son, now with God the Holy Spirit dwelling within me. We are family!
For in bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was entirely appropriate that God—for whom and through whom all things exist—should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For the one who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters (Heb. 2:10-11 CSB).
Jesus, You have risen victorious over my sin! It’s all past tense! It is finished!
Shout, believer, to thy God!
He has once the wine-press trod;
Peace procured by blood divine;
Cancelled all thy sins and mine.
God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son (1 Jn. 5:11 CSB).
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all (1 Tim. 2:5-6 ESV).

And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him,
having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross (Col. 2:13-14 ESV)!
Christ exalted, You have risen victorious over Satan!
Here thy bleeding wounds are healed;
Sin condemned and pardon sealed…
He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame,
by triumphing over them in him (Col. 2:15 ESV).
Grace her empire still maintains;
Christ without a rival reigns…

Christ exalted, our Father now sees me as righteous and holy!
In thy Surety thou art free;
His dear hands were pierced for thee…
Who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification (Rom. 4:25 ESV)!
With His spotless vesture on,
holy as the Holy One.
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins (1 Cor. 15:17 CSB).
O the heights, the depths of grace,
Shining with meridian blaze!

“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (Jn. 20:29 ESV).
Christ exalted, You are my peace as I suffer today
Risen Lord Jesus, when You showed Your resurrected body to them, You repeatedly spoke these words to my fearful brothers:
“Peace be with you” (Jn. 20:19, 21, 26 ESV).
Saints dejected, cease to mourn;
Faith shall soon to vision turn…
Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man.
For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order:
Christ, the firstfruits;
afterward, at his coming, those who belong to Christ (1 Cor. 15:20-23 CSB)!
Ye the kingdom shall obtain,
And with Christ exalted reign!
These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name (Jn. 20:31 ESV).
As I suffer today, “groaning inwardly,” waiting for Your final “redemption of our bodies” (Rom. 8:23 ESV)…Christ exalted IS my song! He alone IS my hope as I suffer on earth.
If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied (1 Cor. 15:19 ESV).
For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him (1 Thess. 5:9-10 ESV)….

I do believe who You are…and this IS newness of life in Your name as I suffer, now and forever. Hallelujah, Christ arose! In Your exalted and glorious name, my Lord and King, amen.
A playlist gift of Christ-exalting, hope-filled music for my suffering sisters in Christ to sing to Him
Christ exalted IS our song, our hope! As we bring our fears and tears to Him, our alive and reigning Lord tenderly says, “Peace be with you” to us, too. I’m praying these songs will be His gift of grace to you as we continue to behold our risen and reigning King this week!
Sister in Christ, can you imagine it? We’re singing to Him along with others in our family who have now seen Him because they live with Him face to face!
If weekly playlists would bless you as you suffer too, sign up here, and it will come to your email with my love.
Or perhaps other resources of our ministry would be helpful to you as they are to me?
