Podcast: Singing Christ’s Hope Into Chronic Illness and Pain

YouTube channel

Dr. Lauri A. Hogle is a seasoned church music leader, educator, author, retired music therapist, and founder of the non-profit women’s ministry Singing Christ’s Hope. Enduring 35+ years of severe chronic physical affliction with progressive neurological challenges—including nearly eight years of undiagnosed, disabling illness—God has brought her two lifesaving brain surgeries (one in 2023), a story first featured in outlets such as NBC: Dateline and the Baltimore Sun. In the darkest valleys of limitation as a mother raising children amid an invisible disabling condition, He sustained and refined her faith through His Word’s truths echoed in Scriptural music, anchoring her hope and peace entirely in Christ. By God’s grace, now a Nana despite her incurable condition, Lauri’s passion is to help suffering Christian women rest in our gospel hope in Christ by “singing Christ’s hope” with Scripture-saturated sung prayers.
