My God, I’m feeling so much like Job today.

I am not at ease, nor am I quiet. I have no rest, but trouble comes.

I need Your help and strength just for basic life tasks. How can I get through today?

“Day by day, and with each passing moment,” God is compassionate

Every day the Lord himself is near me with a special mercy for each hour.

You promise that, like a nursing child who is completely dependent and needy, You have infinite compassion on me, as Your afflicted child.

All my cares he fain would bear, and cheer me, He whose name is Counselor and Power.

You never forget me. You’re always listening for my hunger, and you soothe my cries with the life-sustaining nourishment of Your Word. Because I am Yours, in Christ, I am inscribed on the palm of Your hands.

Father, please quiet my heart in trusting You with today. With tomorrow.

“Day by day, and with each passing moment,” God is strong

The protection of his child and treasure is a charge that on himself he laid;

“As your days, your strength shall be in measure,” this the pledge to me he made.

Thank You, Lord.

Help me to sing for joy as I rest in Your compassionate strength and special mercy, as you give me strength, in my suffering today. Help me to exult in You today, as I anticipate the glorious day when I see Jesus and the mountains that break forth into joyful singing.

In the name of my dear Savior, amen and amen.

Finding Hope in Suffering

By God’s healing mercy in giving me more moments of physical ability, “Singing Christ’s Hope” has broadened into expanded resources for Christian women who are also suffering. Hallelujah! 🎶 His compassions, they fail not, dear sister in Christ. 🎶 I pray that each resource will help you to continually re-find hope for our hard days. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope” (Rom. 15:13 ESV).
